Can ONE good phone save Motorola? Well that depends on how good it is in the eyes of consumers. The Motorola Alexander just surfaced and it is suppose to have a few interesting features and specs. Off the bat, it takes the form of a slider with a hidden full QWERTY. It’s hard to say if the Alexander may or may not have a touch-screen.

Based on early rumors from BGR, the Motorola Alexander is going to be powered by Windows Mobile. Whether it’s going to be Windows Mobile 6.1 or 7 is yet to be determined. If the rumor is right, the Alexander should arrive in Q4 of this year, which means it’ll most likely have Windows Mobile 6.1 - Windows 7 is still a year out.
The Alexander is purported to also have a 5-8 megapixel camera, NVIDIA chip that handles the 3D graphics rendering and aGPS.
It’s possible that Motorola’s last stand rides on the success of this phone codenamed Alexander.
